About Us

Hi, we're Sarah and Ryan, the husband and wife team behind Milk & Honey! Sarah opened shop in 2011 and quickly received wide spread recognition and press features including People Magazine, Martha Stewart, Better Homes & Gardens, The Today Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Real Simple, and many more. As the business grew, Ryan decided to leave the corporate world to join full time as partner Now Sarah and Ryan work side by side in our Richmond home studio.

We have had the pleasure of working with Nordstrom stores nationwide, the Martha Stewart American Made Market, FOOD52, Anthropologie's BHLDN, and Whole Foods Market. What began as my passion project has grown into a thriving family business.

All of our products embrace the idea of making an ordinary moment feel special and a little luxurious. We are firm believers in daily luxury and don't believe that luxury is dependent on wealth. We appreciate the decadence of a hot cup of cocoa after playing in the snow with our children, fresh flowers in the kitchen (picked from the yard does just fine), the first sip of good coffee in the morning and nestling into a warm bed at night. Milk & Honey was born of these moments.

Our creative process begins by sourcing the highest quality materials: only choosing the very best vintage silverware for our stamped pieces (table-ready, gorgeous condition, free of pitting and plate loss), selecting the finest hardwoods from the Virginia countryside for our custom cutting boards and offering a wide selection of mug sizes and colors so that our customers can help design a finished product that works best for their needs and aesthetics.

We take great pride in creating gifts that you can be proud to give and that will be cherished keepsakes for years to come. Offering unique handmade goods and treating our customers the way we would treat our own friends is a large part of our success.
